Wyoming County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18, 2025. We will continue to assess schools and bus routes. Our hearts are broken for those impacted by flooding. Serving others in time of need is a strong faith based foundation of people from Wyoming County. Continue to check on your neighbors and please fill out the link on social for any flood related needs.
In light of the recent flooding, we want to ensure that our students and their families receive the support they need. We are sending out a form to check on any needs you may have during this time, whether it’s related to cleanup, supplies, or other assistance.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all in our communities that have been impacted by this flood. Wyoming County Schools will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025. The great thing about Wyoming County is that we take care of each other, we always do! We will work closely with 911 and will be assessing all schools over the next few days. Check in on your neighbors and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers!

Wyoming County Schools will be on a 3 hour delay on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. We will monitor the potential incoming storm and quickly make any adjustments early to utilize a snow packet day.

The students and staff at Glen Fork are grateful for our school counselor, Mrs. Ginger Reed and our CIS, Mrs. Krista Warrix! They are always there to provide the supports needed for our students to be successful. We are blessed to have both of them with us!

We are celebrating attendance at Glen Fork!! We had ice cream parties for the 1st, 5th, and 6th grades for winning monthly attendance competitions! To wrap up the day, we did surprise drawings for the students who have had perfect attendance for the 1st Semester! We are so proud of how hard they are working to have perfect attendance each day!! GREAT job Tigers!!!

Glen Fork 4th grade had a special PJ Day that was purchased by one of the students using their Tiger Tokens! Students can earn tokens throughout the day as part of our PBIS program. To top is all off…they had PERFECT attendance as well!! GREAT job 4th grade!!

Glen Fork’s 8th grade students learned about Fairmont State University from FSU Junior, Olivia Hylton. She did a virtual walkthrough tour with the students allowing them to see the campus and discussed being a student athlete. We are thankful for former Wyoming County students who can share their experiences with us! It was a GREAT visit!

Due to rapid rising of streams, high school students will be released at 8am. Middle and elementary students will not be picked up today, January 31, 2025.

Glen Fork 8th grade students participated in Projectile Launcher as part of a West Virginia STEAM TAC activity. The students explored motion, energy, and engineering while having a little fun! Thank you to Mrs. Couch for bringing the activity to us!! It was a GREAT way for them to explore STEAM in action!
