Glen Fork 7th and 8th grade students explored what goes in to being a meteorologist for the National Weather Service. We had a great time learning about the different programs used to help predict weather patterns and issue various special weather statements. We wrapped up the visit in the control room where we were able to see the staff in action as they monitored places across our state!
