ATTENTION! On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, all Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Mandatory Countywide Lockdown/Shelter in place drill.
The Lockdown/Shelter in place shall be held between 9-9:30am Tuesday morning.
It’s mandatory that all school personnel participate in the drill. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!
The goal of the drill is preparedness to keep our students and staff safe under any circumstances. We love our children! We love our school employees! We pray this preparedness is never needed.♥️

The Wyoming East Warrior Pride Marching Band toured Herndon Consolidated, Pineville Middle, and Mullens Middle Schools over the past two days. They played this year’s marching show and talked to the students about the benefits of music and the arts. Many 8th graders signed up to participate in the marching band for next year. WE’re very excited for what’s in store for the band! 🎶🎺 #musicmatters #warriorpride
Wyoming East juniors, sophomores, and freshmen have scheduled their classes with their counselors. Parents are required to sign both the PEP (Personalized Education Plan) and the Schedule Course Request. Scheduling is a first come, first serve basis. As courses begin to fill and without those signed papers, your child may not receive the courses they want.

Wyoming County Schools had a successful SAT School Day administration. Eleventh grade students at both Westside and Wyoming East High Schools participated in the assessment. Wyoming East had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Vaughn Rhudy of the WVDE Office of Assessment today as well.👏🏼

Wyoming County Schools begins a new tradition! The current teacher of the year for Wyoming County, Norma Acord-Combs of Wyoming East High School, was surprised today with a classroom update. Kara Halsey- Mitchell, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, surprised Mrs Acord- Combs with the news. Measurements were taken and a design will be released soon!
